The unique Freeplay Generator captures your own human energy as you turn the winding handle. This energy is then stored and released as electrical energy, charging the battery that powers the Lantern. The lantern can be stored in the fully wound position, providing immediate and assured light for the user whenever needed. Each 40 second wind-up creates 3 minutes of stored light energy. Back-to-back wind-up cycles can be performed to charge the battery for extended shine time. Additionally, included is an AC/DC recharger that can charge the battery for up to two hours usage.
