The Katadyn Drip Filter elements will treat up to 150,000 liters of water before requiring replacement. Fill the upper compartment with up to 10 liters (2 1/2 gallons) of untreated water. The water drips through 3 ceramic elements with a pore size of 0.2 microns and is automatically stored in the lower chamber, ready for use. Filtering action reliably removes all the micro-organisms that cause diseases such as: Typhoid, Giardiasis, Cholera, Amebiasis, Bilharzia, and Cryptosporidiosis.
